Prashant Panjiar is a self-taught photographer. He worked on photographic projects focusing on peasant movements and other social issues through his college and university days. His first self-financed project (1981-84) was his work for a book on banditry in the Chambal region of Central India.

In 1984, he joined mainstream journalism with the Patriot newspaper moving on in 1986 to join India Today magazine where he made his mark as a photojournalist of importance. In 1995 he joined the Outlook Group of publications as Associate Editor, in charge of photography, and was part of the core team involved in its launch. He went on to become Deputy Editor of the magazine responsible for the look and visual content of the magazine and other group publications.

In 2001 Panjiar left the Outlook Group to devote himself to full-time independent photography. Based in New Delhi he specializes in editorial and documentary photography. His work is published in leading magazines both in India and abroad. Since 2003 he has also been working on issues such of health, education and livelihood for international foundations such as The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the American India Foundation. Panjiar also continues to work as a consulting editor. As one of India’s senior photojournalists and picture editors, Panjiar is actively involved in guiding young photographers. He is one of the three senior photographers who select and mentor young documentary photographers for National Foundation of India’s fellowship program. Panjiar served on the jury of the World Press Photo Awards in Amsterdam in 2002, the China International Press Photo Competition in 2005 and the Indian Express Press Photo Awards.

Dinesh Khanna has been a Professional Photographer for over 21 years during which he has been involved in creating images for Advertising, Editorial and Corporate clients, specifically in the area of Food, Still-life, People and Interiors. His personal work has been shown in Solo and Group Exhibitions, in India and around the world.

Besides this he has done 2 Pictorial Books - "Bazaar" and "Living Faith" - which were a result of over a decade of traveling through the traditional markets and religious centres of India. 21 years into the journey, Photography is not just a profession and a passion but his means of understanding and feeling the world and life around him. Besides continuing to do commercial assignments for International Magazines, Advertising Agencies and Corporates, He is also currently working on various personal projects like: "Benaras - Everyday in Eternity", "Earning Dignity - from Art, Craft and Trade", Mothers & Daughters and Doubletake and Urban Trivia Monthly magazine columns.

Dinesh is also a Co-Founder and Managing Trustee of Nazar Foundation, which has been set up to promote Photography as an art-form. And is also a Co-Founder and one of the Creative Directors of the Biennale ‘Delhi Photo Festival,’ the first chapter of which was held very successfully in Oct. 2011.

He is also a Director of APEX (Academy for Photographic Excellence) in Delhi and visiting Faculty and Adviser for the BFA Photography course in Symbiosis University, Pune.
